Crimes: assualts, chlorine gas leak in public swimming pool, road accidents causing injuries, fires, burglary attempts, discovery of missing persons
In the past few days, several incidents have been reported across various communities in the region.
On Saturday afternoon, a rear-end collision occurred in Esslingen am Neckar, resulting in three slight injuries and approximately €8,000 worth of damage. The incident has been investigated by the local police. Meanwhile, in Deizisau, a kitchen fire in an apartment building on Saturday morning led to slight injuries to a resident and property damage estimated at around €200,000.
Elsewhere, a disruptive passenger caused a disturbance on a public bus at Am Stadtgraben bus stop, resulting in minor injuries to a 29-year-old woman. The Tübingen police station is currently investigating this incident.
In a separate incident, an altercation occurred in Untere Vorstadt street, involving five individuals and resulting in minor injuries. The Reutlingen Police have initiated an investigation into this incident. However, the search results do not contain any information about a person or group involved in a violent altercation on Untere Vorstadtstraße on a Sunday morning.
On the positive side, a successful search for a missing 66-year-old man in the Kusterdingen area was conducted, and he was found safe and sound on Sunday morning.
Unfortunately, a kitchen fire in Straße Mittlere Beutau, Esslingen am Neckar, on Saturday evening required the assistance of firefighters, emergency services, and police. Despite no injuries being reported, the apartment is now temporarily uninhabitable with approximately €40,000 worth of damage.
In a more unusual incident, a chlorine leak led to the closure of Wendlingen's outdoor pool on Sunday. No visitors were present at the time, and no injuries were reported. The pool will remain closed for ongoing repair work by a specialized company.
Lastly, a physical altercation occurred at Listplatz in Reutlingen early Sunday morning, resulting in slight injuries to a 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old. A corresponding criminal complaint will be filed against the individual who caused the disturbance, as he had left the scene before the police arrived.
