In the quiet streets of Bielefeld, Germany, an unusual incident unfolded on August 23rd. The suspect, identified as Kenan Mehovic, a 34-year-old man with no fixed address in Germany, was apprehended near the Pfarrei.

The incident began around 11:20 PM when a woman from Bielefeld heard suspicious noises on Kreuzflur Street. She noticed two individuals with flashlights attempting to enter a single-family house on the street. The individuals fled when the police arrived.

Mehovic, who has a history of numerous property crimes, was later confirmed to have an illegal stay in Germany, as his residence permit had expired. The judge ordered his detention. However, his accomplice in the August 23rd incident remains at large.

The accomplice may have been noticed by residents or recorded by surveillance cameras. Anyone with information about the accomplice is urged to contact the Criminal Investigation Department 13 at 0521/545-0.

The police are investigating the incident further. Additional investigations will determine if Mehovic can be linked to other property crimes. It is believed that the accomplice, who fled through the gardens along Kreuzflur Street, may hold crucial information.

Mehovic was presented to a judge at Bielefeld District Court on Sunday. During his escape, he sustained minor injuries. The police are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to ensure the safety of the community.
