Cult's Management in Mainz Has Changed its Leadership Figure

In the heart of Bleichenviertel, a renowned pub known as the Beer Stop has been a welcoming space for people to gather, socialise, and form connections for nearly 50 years. After 29 years under the management of Marianne, the pub is passing on the reins to a new owner – Keanu Kornmesser.

Keanu, a private individual with no publicly known professional background, first stepped into the Beer Stop through the invitation of a friend. It was love at first sight for Keanu, who quickly became a regular. His connection with the pub grew so strong that when the opportunity arose to take over, he knew immediately it was what he wanted.

Marianne, confident in her decision, has passed on her knowledge of gastronomy "from the ground up" to Keanu. Under his management, the Beer Stop will continue to be a place that fosters friendships and connections, a living room where great people meet and form lasting bonds.

Keanu wants to keep the essence of the Beer Stop the same, with only a few internal changes. He describes the pub as a diverse, open, and loving crowd, a place where it's easy to start conversations and meet new people. The new owner's goal is for customers not to notice any significant change in the pub's atmosphere.

Despite his ongoing biology studies, Keanu's experiences and learnings from Marianne have helped him maintain a cool head and respect for customers behind the bar. Keanu has expressed his love for the pub since his first visit, and he looks forward to continuing to provide a welcoming space for people to meet and socialise under his management.

Marianne hopes that the Beer Stop will still be in operation after 50 more years, and with Keanu at the helm, it seems likely that the pub's legacy will continue to thrive. The Beer Stop, despite the change in ownership, will remain a place that encourages conversation, fosters friendships, and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who visit.
