Later in the day, at 13:05, an accident occurred on the B189 near Groß Schwechten. This incident involved a 71-year-old driving an Opel car and a 64-year-old driving a Ford car. Meanwhile, on the A14 near Lüdertitz, a grass fire broke out at an unknown cause. The fire, which occurred at 19:39, involved a truck loaded with electric cars. The driver of the truck, a 54-year-old, was unharmed, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The B189 was fully closed for approximately three hours due to the fire.
