Customs Authority Releases Preliminary Statistics on Goods Screening at Kiliani Festival's Entertainment Event

The Main Customs Office Schweinfurt recently conducted an inspection on the showmen and catering trade at the Kiliani Volksfest in Würzburg, as part of their ongoing efforts to reduce the social acceptance of black work and illegal employment.

Over 70 enforcement agents from the Financial Control Black Work (FKS) of the Customs Service participated in the inspection, which took place in the cities of Schweinfurt and Würzburg. A total of 67 showmen businesses were inspected during the operation.

Approximately 224 employees were questioned about their employment status during the inspection. The Main Customs Office detected suspicions of possible violations during the inspection, which are now the subject of further investigations.
