The Aschaffenburg Local Court has handed down a significant ruling, fining a local restaurant owner €9,000 for aiding and abetting illegal residence in three cases. The convicted individual, whose identity and the location of the restaurant remain undisclosed, was found to have employed three women who entered the country with forged Slovak passports.

The investigation, conducted by the Financial Control Schwarzarbeit (FCS) of the Main Customs Office Schweinfurt, uncovered the illegal employment of the three workers. The FCS, responsible for a wide range of tasks from preventive measures to complex forms of abuse of social benefits and illegal employment, carried out inspections of persons and business records, as well as investigations into related criminal and administrative offenses.
