Cybersecurity firm Sphinx set to purchase Enigma, boosting its capabilities in digital security and intelligence operations.

Sphinx, a leading developer of Counterintelligence (CI) and cyber tools, has announced the acquisition of Enigma International. This move is described as a "natural evolution" by Garrett Pagon, CEO of Sphinx, who expressed enthusiasm about the deal.

The acquisition significantly enhances Sphinx's ability to protect defense and commercial security clients from advanced threat actors. Sphinx's COO, Steve Martin, voiced his excitement about the growth trajectory following the acquisition.

The AxIS software product line, a key asset of Sphinx, will further benefit from this acquisition. The line includes AxIS-CI, a purpose-built solution designed to provide commanders with modern and AI-enabled tools for collaborative and automated CI mission operations.

Enigma's capabilities align with Sphinx's "mission-first excellence" and its Solution and Value Delivery (SOLVD) Model. The SOLVD Model employs data-first design, automation, and AI augmentation to counter sophisticated adversaries.

Interestingly, Enigma is embedded within three new intelligence organizations, where Sphinx can now drive transformative solutions. However, the specific details about these organizations were not disclosed.

The acquisition also provides Sphinx with expanded access to the Federal Government through key contracts such as GSA OASIS+ and DIA DLITE II.

In a statement attributed to an unspecified source, "We are thrilled to welcome Enigma into the Sphinx family. They not only add unique qualifications that aid in the protection of U.S. interests, but they are embedded within three new intelligence organizations, where we can now drive transformative solutions."

While the exact details about Enigma's role in these organizations and its capabilities in protecting U.S. interests from advanced threat actors were not explicitly discussed, the acquisition is expected to strengthen Sphinx's position in the defense and security sector.
