Air Canada Introduces Daily Nonstop Service Between Cincinnati and Montreal

Air Canada has expanded its service offerings with the launch of a new daily nonstop flight connecting Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Montreal, Quebec, Canada (YUL). This new service is set to provide a convenient option for future tourism and business trade opportunities between the two cities.

The flight schedule is as follows: Departing from CVG at 1:30 p.m., the flight arrives in Montreal at 3:23 p.m. Conversely, the Montreal-to-CVG flight departs at 6:10 p.m. and arrives at 8:27 p.m.

This new service aims to boost tourism between the two cities, both known for their rich history and charm. It also supports business travel, building on the strength of the commercial trade partnerships between the Tri-State area and Canada.

Larry Krauter, the CEO of CVG, expressed his excitement about Air Canada's new international service connecting Cincinnati and Montreal. He sees this development as a significant step forward in enhancing travel connections and fostering stronger ties between the two cities.

The flight is serviced by a CRJ 900 aircraft, which includes a business class option. Further schedule information and ticket booking can be found on Air Canada's website (aircanada.com).

It's worth noting that Canada is a significant export destination for Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. In 2024, Kentucky exported $9.3 billion in goods to Canada, Ohio exported $19.9 billion, and Indiana exported $13.9 billion.

The first flight was celebrated with cake, bag tags, and other giveaways for travelers, marking a memorable start to this new service.

Air Canada already offers twice daily service between Toronto (YYZ) and CVG. The airline's connecting flight line from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to a further destination after an international stopover typically involves its own operated flights as part of its network, but specific connecting flight lines depend on the exact route and destination details.

This new service is expected to provide a valuable contribution to the tourism and business sectors of both cities, fostering stronger ties and promoting economic growth.
