Dangerous Electric Scooter Ride Leads to Assault and Various Infractions at Halle Main Station: Incident Involving BPOLI MD
In an incident that unfolded on the evening of June 24, 2025, four men were arrested at the main station in Halle (Saale) for drunken driving on e-scooters and violent behavior.
The federal police stopped the group and requested further handling by the Halle (Saale) police station. The details of the men's identities are not publicly available.
Upon being taken to the federal police station, the men continued their threats and threats of violence, which required the use of force again. The men became increasingly uncooperative and aggressive, verbally insulting and threatening the officers. One suspect attempted to strike a federal police officer in the head, but the attack was prevented by the use of force.
Investigations were initiated against the suspects for assault on and resistance against law enforcement officers, insult, bodily harm, threat, and driving under the influence.
During their stay in the detention cells, the men damaged doors, radiators, and the intercom. After completion of the police measures, the suspects were released from custody.
