In a thrilling display of football, the No. 7 Oregon Ducks outclassed the Montana State Bobcats on Saturday morning in Eugene, Oregon. The final score read 42-7 in favour of the Ducks, with the team outgaining their opponents 506-244.

The Ducks' offence was in fine form, with quarterback Dante Moore leading the charge. Moore made his first start in nearly two years and delivered a career-high 78% completion rate, completing 18 out of 23 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns. His first touchdown pass was a 20-yard dart to Kenyon Sadiq, while his long pass in the third quarter was a 50-yard completion to Jay Harris.

Jordon Davison was a force to be reckoned with, scoring two rushing touchdowns for Oregon. His 2-yard touchdown gave the Ducks an early lead, and he finished the day with three touchdowns on six carries. Jayden Limar also got in on the action, scoring the first touchdown of the year for Oregon on a 16-yard run.

Gary Bryant Jr. and Malik Benson also contributed to the Ducks' scoring tally, with Bryant scoring a 14-yard touchdown after a no-huddle call in the third quarter, and Benson catching an 11-yard touchdown pass from Moore with three seconds left in the first half. Noah Whittington also scored a 1-yard touchdown for Oregon.

Oregon's offence was not the only star of the show, with the defence also putting in a solid performance. The team allowed no sacks during the game and had two blocked punts on consecutive possessions. Myles Sansted kicked two 42-yard field goals for Montana State, but it was not enough to stop the Ducks' onslaught.

Justin Lamson completed 23 out of 31 passes for Montana State, with no touchdowns or interceptions. Taco Dowler caught 12 passes for 107 yards for the Bobcats, but it was Adam Jones who scored their lone touchdown, a 2-yard score with 2:22 to play.

Despite the lopsided score, the Montana State Bobcats showed resilience and will no doubt be a formidable opponent for other teams in the future. However, on this day, it was the Oregon Ducks who shone the brightest, demonstrating why they are one of the top teams in the nation.
