Deadline Approaching: Submissions for 10 women making strides in the gaming industry due soon
The countdown is on for women making waves in the gaming industry! CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women have announced the deadline for nominations for the "10 Women Rising in Gaming: Class of 2025" collaboration. The deadline for submissions is July 25, 2025.
This prestigious programme aims to honour 10 exceptional women who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and dedication within the gaming industry. These rising stars represent diverse talents, including entrepreneurs and professionals across organisations of all sizes.
The programme encourages nominations that highlight these qualities and aim to celebrate women who are shaping the future of gaming. Past honorees include Brooke Fiumara, co-founder and co-CEO of OPTX, RX/Reed Exhibitions Vice President of Events Korbi Carrison, and Grainne Hurst, CEO of the Betting and Gaming Council in the United Kingdom.
To be considered for the Class of 2025, nominees must have at least five years of industry experience and demonstrate excellence in at least three of the six qualifying attributes: Achievement, Leadership, Impact & Contributions, Overcoming Adversity, Community Engagement, or Longevity & Consistency.
Nominations are open to casino operators (both brick-and-mortar and online), gaming manufacturers, lotteries, sports betting organisations, suppliers, law firms, and marketing agencies that support the industry. The nomination process is also open to women in any country, working in different sectors of the gaming industry.
The honourees for the Class of 2025 will be notified on a date yet to be specified. They will be recognised at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas in October during the website's Day Zero party on Sunday, October 5.
