In a concerning turn of events, the Bochum Police are currently investigating two incidents that occurred in Herne, Germany, on August 27. The first incident took place around 6 pm in the area of Kânigstraße / Brauwasserweg, while the second incident occurred half an hour later, 500 meters away in the area of Rosenring.

In both incidents, the suspects posed as waterworks employees to gain entry to the apartments and steal jewelry. The suspect in the first incident is described as a male, approximately 20-25 years old, about 175 cm tall, of normal build, with short black hair, wearing black clothing and a yellow vest. The second suspect is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 170-175 cm tall, and wearing long dark pants, a black cap, and an orange safety vest. The names of the victims and the suspects have not been publicly disclosed at this time.
