Dubai-based logistics startup Quiqup has secured $5.5 million in an investment round, led by Delivery Hero, with additional participation from Cedar Mundi, Jobi Capital, Trasnmed, Insight Partners, and Yam Capital. Quiqup provides on-demand, same-day, and scheduled delivery solutions for retailers and restaurants in Dubai, having moved its headquarters to the city in 2017. The startup expanded to the United Arab Emirates in the same year with its Dubai launch, and it shut down its United Kingdom operations in early 2019.
The order pick-up process is completed within 15 minutes, and delivery takes place within 50 minutes, ensuring swift and efficient service for businesses. Quiqup's pay-as-you-go model charges businesses for every delivered order, making it an attractive option for companies of all sizes.
Offline retailers can book same-day deliveries through Quiqup's dashboard and have the option for scheduled deliveries.
