Developer Dave hints at potential new game based on Dave the Diver IP
In the world of high-performance gaming laptops, three stand out as the best choices for gamers. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 takes the crown as the best high-performance gaming laptop, while the Razer Blade 16 (2022) is hailed as the best overall gaming laptop. The MSI Vector 16 HX AI, on the other hand, shines as the best mid-range gaming laptop. For those on a budget, the Gigabyte G6X is the ideal choice.
Meanwhile, in the gaming world, the popular title Dave the Diver is set to expand beyond its current DLC offerings. Mintrocket, the developer behind Dave the Diver, has announced plans to create free and paid DLC, collaborate with other franchises, and even develop potential spin-offs or sequels. The "Virtual Rabbit" division within Mintrocket is hard at work on a possible sequel or spin-off of Dave the Diver.
Mintrocket CEO Jaeho Hwang shared similar expansion plans for Dave the Diver in an interview at Gamescom Asia last October. Hwang expressed his interest in creating a spin-off or sequel to the game. The upcoming In the Jungle DLC, which was initially scheduled for 2021, has been delayed and is now set to launch in 2026. This DLC will add a new region to Dave the Diver, featuring freshwater fish and lake diving.
In celebration of Dave the Diver's second anniversary, Mintrocket brought back the previously expired Godzilla DLC as a free offering for the game's fans. The Godzilla DLC will be available for free until at least the end of 2026. The second anniversary was also marked by a sneak peek of In the Jungle.
Stevie Bonifield, a freelance tech journalist specializing in mobile tech, gaming gear, and accessories, has been following the developments of Dave the Diver closely. Bonifield, who has interests outside of writing, including indie games, TTRPGs, and building custom keyboards, has been covering the game's expansion plans extensively.
The Razer Blade series continues to impress, with the Razer Blade 14 (2022) being named the best 14-inch gaming laptop. For those seeking a larger screen, the Gigabyte Aorus 17X is the best 17-inch gaming laptop.
Whether you're a hardcore gamer or a casual player, there's a gaming laptop out there that suits your needs. And with exciting expansion plans for Dave the Diver on the horizon, it's an exciting time to be a fan of the game.
