Bayobab Shortlisted for Best African Connectivity Provider Award

Bayobab, a subsidiary of the MTN Group, has been recognised for its significant contributions to digital infrastructure in Africa. The company has been shortlisted for the Best African Connectivity Provider award at the 2025 Global Connectivity Awards.

The announcement was made by Bayobab themselves, highlighting their commitment to providing top-tier connectivity solutions across the continent. The award ceremony for the 2025 Global Connectivity Awards is scheduled to take place on October 22, 2025.

Bayobab was founded by the MTN Group and has grown to become a key player in the African digital landscape. Its network spans over 127,000 km of fiber, connecting more than 50 African countries. This extensive network has enabled over 4,500 roaming services, providing seamless connectivity for millions of users.
