Diplomatic representative from Kuwait presents official qualifications in Peru

Relations between Kuwait and Peru have witnessed rapid development in recent years, especially after the important visit made by the Peruvian Foreign Minister to Kuwait last April. This milestone was marked by the celebration of the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The celebration was sponsored by Peruvian Foreign Minister Elmer Chialer Salcedo and took place at the Presidential Palace in Lima, Peru. The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised the event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Peru.

Ambassador Talal Al-Mansour of Kuwait presented his credentials to President Dina Boluarte of Peru during the ceremony. Al-Mansour emphasized that Kuwaiti-Peruvian relations have been built on solid foundations of mutual respect, shared interests, and a sincere desire to enhance cooperation in various fields.

The Peruvian Minister praised the distinguished level of bilateral relations during the ceremony. Both sides highlighted the strong foundations of mutual respect and cooperation, noting recent developments as a milestone in enhancing bilateral ties and opening new avenues for collaboration.

The celebration was attended by a number of senior Peruvian officials in Lima, Peru. Ambassador Al-Mansour conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir and the Crown Prince of Kuwait.

Al-Mansour pointed out that the relations have developed rapidly in recent years, particularly after the visit of the Peruvian Foreign Minister to Kuwait in April of the current year. The Peruvian Minister visited Kuwait before celebrating the golden anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Peru.

The celebration was marked by the unveiling of a commemorative stamp. The event underscores the continued progress in the relationship between the two countries and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in the years to come.
