Directive on Taxi Rates: Evading Sidewalks and Avoiding Street Impasses
In the northern part of Hagen, Germany, on September 2nd, 2025, an unusual incident unfolded. A 64-year-old passenger, initially heading to a bank, took an unexpected turn during a taxi ride.
The journey, which exceeded 30 euros, was marked by the passenger's deliberate attempts to evade the taxi driver. The passenger chose dead ends and sidewalks, making the ride a challenging one for the driver.
Throughout the ride, the passenger insulted the driver, calling him the devil and complaining about the fare. However, the passenger's antics were not enough to shake off the driver, who eventually dropped him off at his destination.
But the passenger was not to be found upon arrival. Initial investigations suggest that the fugitive is the same 64-year-old man, but there is no confirmed information about his apprehension by the criminal police in connection with the incident.
