Discourse at Nufam 2025: Truck Drivers Utilize Discussion Areas, Debate and Initiate Actions
The city of Karlsruhe is set to host the Nufam 2025 event, a unique gathering that welcomes not just industry professionals, but also drivers and their families. This three-day extravaganza, happening from September 27 to 29, promises a diverse range of activities and insights.
Visitors can expect to learn about admission requirements, job profiles, and career paths within the industry. The event will also feature the Truck Driver Forum, a session dedicated to discussing current challenges in road traffic, including truck parking spaces and existing shortages in Germany.
One of the highlights of the Truck Driver Forum will be the focus on the "Wide Awake at 80 km/h" initiative, an exploration of ways to prevent accidents, particularly at traffic jams. This session aims to foster discussions and share best practices to ensure road safety.
For those interested in digitalization in the commercial vehicle sector, the NUFAM podcast on September 27 will be a must-listen. Trucker Christina Scheib, a guest on the podcast, will share her insights, with the discussion revolving around women in the transport industry. After the podcast, Scheib will be available for autographs.
The Nufam Challenge, a competition for truck drivers to showcase their skills, will also take place. The top eight applicants for this challenge will receive a VIP package and compete for a main prize worth 1,500 euros.
The event program is supplemented by a truck model market, an overturning simulator, and the seatbelt sled at the BG Verkehr in Hall 3. Outdoors, on the Peter-Gross-Bau site, exhibitors will showcase commercial vehicles in action.
The Nufam Action Zone offers a variety of attractions, including a football shooting game, the Dekra truck simulator, beer crate stacking, a bouncy castle, and more. A separate course for children will also be available.
On September 28 at 11:00, the "Truck and Talk - American Football Edition" will take place.
The Unimog course will return on September 28, offering visitors the chance to experience the vehicle's off-road capabilities.
To conclude the event, rescue services will demonstrate a simulated accident with all necessary rescue and recovery measures on the event's Sunday. Organizers will also present a specially developed prevention anthem that will be performed live at the event.
The Nufam 2025 event promises to be an engaging and informative experience for all, offering a unique blend of education, entertainment, and interaction within the trucking industry.
