Discovered a 12-year-old boy in Granada, armed with a revolver, holding 70 rounds of ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.

In the North district of the capital city of Granada, Spain, an unexpected encounter took place between a 12-year-old boy and national police officers almost at midnight. The boy was walking nervously with a backpack, which contained a surprising assortment of items.

As the officers approached, the boy gave his name and age but remained tight-lipped about his destination or the contents of his bag. He changed direction, quickened his pace, and looked back to see if he was being followed.

Upon closer inspection, the officers discovered that the boy was carrying drugs, a .38 caliber revolver with ivory grips, and over 70 cartridges. The revolver, though loaded, had no ammunition in its cylinder. The backpack also contained a sock tied with 37 cartridges, another striped one with nine, and a transparent plastic bag with 35.

The boy stated that everything he had with him was given to him by a man he didn't know. The bag also contained sneakers, books, medications, a mobile phone, and a plastic bag containing almost 50 grams of marijuana buds.

The boy's mother arrived at the scene shortly after and took charge of him. After both went to the police station, the boy's case will be brought to the attention of the juvenile courts. The courts may decide to take some action towards the boy or his parents or guardians.

It is not publicly available who gave the drugs, the revolver, and the cartridges to the 12-year-old boy. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by law enforcement in addressing the issue of underage involvement in criminal activities.
