"Disliking Italy expressed as federal police bar migrant entrances"
In the ongoing battle against the smuggling of foreigners and irregular, illegal migration, the Federal Police Inspectorate Rosenheim plays a significant role. This inspectorate, which oversees around 70 train stations and stops, is responsible for combating cross-border crime with approximately 450 staff members.
The Federal Police Inspectorate Rosenheim covers the districts of Miesbach, Bad TΓΆlz-Wolfratshausen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Rosenheim. Its main focus is counteracting the smuggling of foreigners and irregular, illegal migration.
Recently, on August 27, the Federal Police refused entry to five Libyan train passengers in Germany. The passengers, who were traveling from Italy, had to end their journey in Rosenheim, Germany. Upon investigation, it was found that none of the Libyans had the necessary entry papers.
The 42-year-old Libyan, identified as the organizer of their travel, was reported for human trafficking offenses related to the facilitation of unauthorized entry of foreigners. The other migrants received criminal charges for their respective illegal entry attempts.
One of the migrants stated that he wanted to apply for asylum in Germany with his fellow countrymen. However, his application was denied due to the lack of proper documentation. Another passenger explained that he wanted to apply for asylum in Germany because he didn't like Italy and didn't know anything about Austria.
After the police measures were completed, the five people were ordered by the Federal Police to leave the country towards Austria. The Federal Police Inspectorate Rosenheim's primary duties include ensuring the safety of rail passengers and facilities on approximately 370 kilometers of railway tracks.
