In the past few days, several incidents and accidents have occurred in Reutlingen and its surrounding areas, causing injuries and property damage.

On Monday evening, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the K6912 towards Einsiedel. No arrests have been made, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.

In a separate incident, a man had to be taken to a clinic after an altercation on Monday afternoon in the area of the entrance to the parking garage on Kollwitzstraße. The police were called to the scene and intervened, but both parties were slightly injured and declined medical treatment.

On Tuesday morning, a cyclist sustained severe injuries in an accident and had to be taken to a clinic in Kirchheim. The accident involved a Skoda Fabia and a Kawasaki Z900.

In a series of incidents involving vehicles, two vehicle fires were reported in Reutlingen's Ohmenhausen district and Hornstraße early on Tuesday morning. The first fire occurred at 2:44 AM on a parking lot adjacent to Hainbuchenweg, involving a no longer registered Peugeot Transporter. The second fire was reported in Hornstraße and involved a Chevrolet that was already fully engulfed in flames. Both vehicles were severely damaged and had to be towed away, with an estimated damage of at least 25,000 euros.

Firefighters and police were dispatched to a multi-family dwelling on Schulstraße on Monday morning due to reports of smoke. Initial findings suggest that a pot left on the turned-on stove caused a kitchen fire in the unoccupied apartment.

A break-in occurred at a residential building in Hirschauer Heerweg overnight into Tuesday. The perpetrator allegedly inflicted several injuries on a 40-year-old with a knife and escaped undetected.

In a less serious incident, a 51-year-old was riding her e-bike and fell off for unknown reasons on the B297 towards Reudern. The cyclist sustained minor injuries and had to be taken to a clinic.

A dispute among children in the area of a playground in Theodor-Heuss-Straße on Monday evening led to a physical altercation between several adults. No injuries were reported, and no property damage was sustained, except for the affected apartment.

Witnesses are sought for an incident at the ZOB in Nürtingen on Monday evening, where a fight occurred and shots were reportedly fired. No specific information from the available sources identifies who was involved in the suspected arson of the two vehicles at the Reutlingen Police Directorate on March 1. The sources mention multiple fires in Reutlingen with ongoing investigations but do not name any suspects related to that particular incident.

On Monday afternoon, a 19-year-old driver suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident on the K1205 in Notzingen. The collision occurred on Heselwanger Straße and involved a mountain bike and a 63-year-old Opel driver.

As always, we encourage anyone with information about these incidents to contact the authorities. Stay safe, and let's work together to keep our communities peaceful and secure.
