Disruptions and halts on Lines 12, B, and 3 of Metro CDMX; commuters voice frustration over network disturbances
In a busy Monday for the city, users of the metro system reported delays and prolonged stops on Lines 12, B, and 3.
The official metro account acknowledged the issue on Line 12, stating that circulation and train exit from terminals were being expedited to alleviate the delays. However, users shared experiences of being stuck for 10 minutes on Line 12 at Calle 11 station, and another instance of a 10-minute stop from Tlatelolco to La Raza on Line 3.
On Line B, there were delays at Oceania and Muzquiz stations, with trains remaining stationary for almost 10 minutes. Users also reported slow service and questioned the cause of the delay, but the metro responded by stating that a train was being inspected.
The metro did not provide a reason for the delays on Line 3, but there was a high demand on the line, causing empty units to be sent to stations with the highest demand.
It's worth noting that there have been reports of street vending and robberies at Metro exits, adding to the commuters' concerns.
