Disruptions in Operations: Temporarily Suspending Services
In the coming days, a specialist company will be carrying out essential roadwork at two locations in our city: the new roadway in Diestelbruch and the Paderborn road roundabout. This work is necessary to install expansion joints into the concrete surfaces and fill them with a rubber-like compound.
Starting from next week, the work will commence at both locations. At the Diestelbruch town entrance, from Tuesday, 12 August, 2 pm to Wednesday, 13 August, 5 pm, the Hamburger Street entrance will be fully closed, and the Bad Meinberger Street will be partially closed on one side. Traffic will be regulated by a traffic light in one lane at the Paderborn road roundabout during the work.
During this time, access to the bus stop in Diestelbruch may be partially impaired, which could potentially affect barrier-free boarding and alighting. Short-term closures will also take place at the town entrance in Diestelbruch.
From 18 to 20 August, the same work will be carried out at the Paderborn road roundabout near the open-air museum. Unfortunately, this means that access to the open-air museum will not be possible during the work at the Paderborn road roundabout. Traffic will continue to be regulated by a traffic light in one lane at the roundabout.
Our city portal apologises for any inconvenience caused by these necessary measures. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. The name of the specialized company executing the coverings on the new road in Diestelbruch and at the new roundabout on Paderbornstraße is not specified in the available search results.
We will keep you updated on the progress of these works and any changes to the traffic situation as they occur. Stay safe and travel with care.
