District administrator pays a visit to Pushkin Senior School in Omsk region
The Pushkinskaya Secondary School in Omsky District welcomed 77 first-graders and 46 ninth-graders on the first day of the new academic year on September 1, 2025. With a total student body of 606, the school is now home to over 1,100 first-graders.
The day marked a significant milestone as the school underwent a major renovation, with over 50 windows replaced, new linoleum laid, and internal rooms repaired. The renovation was coordinated by Elena Ivanova.
Dignitaries from various sectors attended the line-up at the school to celebrate the occasion. Gennady Dolmatov, the Head of the Omsky District, was among the attendees, along with Chair of the Committee on Education Svetlana Roldugina, Omsk Region Prosecutor Alexei Afanasyev, and Head of the Police Department for the Omsky District Vitaly Vasilyuk. Head of the Pushkinsoye Rural Settlement Andrey DemenΡΡev also graced the event.
The day was also marked by ceremonial line-ups held across the Omsky District. Omsky District Prosecutor Vladislav Vasilyev and the Chair of the Committee on Education Svetlana Roldugina were present at these line-ups.
Gennady Dolmatov met with the father of a 10th grader who is a participant in the SVO, offering words of encouragement and support. The school also took the opportunity to congratulate everyone on the start of the new academic year.
