District of Rems-Murr, Pol-AA area witnesses fire, burglary, and security breach incident.
Police Headquarters Aalen has announced that unknown perpetrators have caused two separate incidents in the region.
In the first incident, thieves broke into a company building in Hegnacher Straße, Kernen/Rommelshausen, between Thursday night and Friday. The intruders broke a window to gain entry and rummaged through several drawers and cabinets, but no items were reported stolen. The estimated damage from the break-in is around 100 euros.
The Kernen police station is investigating the break-in and is seeking tips about suspicious persons or vehicles. Witnesses can contact the Kernen police station at 07151 41798.
In a separate incident, an employee in Aalen caused a fire while using a gas burner to remove weeds in a company building on Dieselstraße. The fire involved parts of the facade's substructure and electrical cables, but thankfully, no one was injured. The name of the person who caused the fire is not disclosed, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
On Friday, at approximately 9:20 AM, the Urbach fire department responded to the incident with 4 vehicles and 28 personnel.
Meanwhile, in Rudersberg, unknown thieves stole an "Oasis" brand pump from a garden pond in Hauffstraße between July 24, 2025, and August 8, 2025. The stolen pump is valued at approximately 250 euros.
