Driver viciously assaulted, sustains injuries of significant severity
In a shocking incident that took place last night, a bus driver was viciously attacked at the 'Alter Markt' bus stop in the city centre.
According to eyewitness accounts, the attacker, a male approximately 20 years old, around 180 cm tall, with longer dark hair and a full beard, wearing a white hoodie and dark pants, fled the scene in the direction of Schützenstraße.
The incident occurred when the bus, which had stopped due to traffic, was approached by the assailant. The suspect attempted to board the bus but was unable to do so. Instead, he used a nearby trash can to strike the driver as he exited the vehicle, causing the driver to fall to the ground.

The bus continued along Carnaper Street and Schützenstraße towards Sedanstraße, with passengers exiting the bus to assist the 46-year-old victim.
