Drone Display Soars over Munich: 150 Drones Illuminate Isar River Nightscape - Complete Coverage
Munich, Germany, is set to host a special light show on Saturday, September 6. The event, titled "M-net loves Munich," will take place in the evening and promises to be a visual treat for the city's residents and visitors alike.
The light spectacle will take place at the Isar Island Festival, directly on Steinsdorfstraße, between the Maximilian Bridge and the Ludwig Bridge. The best view of the light installation is expected to be from this location, offering an unparalleled view of the 150 drones that will fill the sky.
Organised by M-net, the fiber optic provider based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, the light show is a tribute to the city, combining technology and city symbols in a unique and captivating display. The company, known as Bavaria's leading fiber optic provider, is also giving away a brand new DJI drone as part of the performance.
The light show is scheduled to begin at 9:10 PM and last approximately 13 minutes. While the event is not repeated at other locations along the Isar on September 6, the drone show will be visible within a radius of about three kilometers under good weather conditions.
The light spectacle will feature fourteen different motifs, including Munich landmarks like the Munich child and the city's silhouette. The light show is intended to give something special to people in Munich and make them feel part of the city.
