Drug Enforcement Agents from Hotspot Team Kalk successfully confiscated an estimated 12,000 euros in cash and a considerable amount of cocaine in a recent operation.

In an operation led by the hotspot team Kalk, three suspected drug dealers were intercepted on Istanbul Street in an incident that took place on Monday evening, 4th August.

The suspects, aged 20, 22, and 27, were found in a black VW Golf. A thorough search of the vehicle revealed a zip-top bag containing six Eppendorf tubes of cocaine hidden in the glove compartment.

Upon arrest, the 22-year-old occupant was found to have 780 euros in cash, while the 20-year-old suspect had approximately 5,300 euros on them. Illegally potent drugs, known as COBRA tablets, were found on the 20-year-old suspect.

Subsequent apartment searches, the exact location of which was not specified, uncovered additional seized items. These included more cocaine, precision scales, and corresponding residues. A second precision scale, with cocaine residues, was found in the bedroom of the 27-year-old suspect.

The 20-year-old suspect is currently involved in a separate criminal proceeding for violating the Medicines Act. A small amount of cocaine and other drug-related paraphernalia were found in the bedroom of the 27-year-old suspect.

Approximately 6,000 euros in cash, 200 Swiss francs, and 200 US dollars were discovered in a bedroom belonging to the 27-year-old suspect.

Further details about the arrested individuals or the ongoing investigation were not provided in the article. The police patrol that stopped the black VW Golf on Barcelona-Allee at 18:40 on 4th August was not specified by name or unit type.
