Duo of drug-impaired motorists apprehended by authorities.
In separate incidents over the weekend, police in Warendorf and Ahlen, Germany, arrested two drivers suspected of being under the influence of drugs.
On the night of September 3, 2025, at around 00:30, a 22-year-old driver from Sendenhorst was stopped by the Warendorf police on Münsterstraße. A subsequent investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of drugs. Blood samples were taken for further analysis.
In a separate incident, at 00:45 on Im Pattenmeicheln in Ahlen, a 25-year-old driver from Hamm was stopped by the local police. Similarly, this driver was found to be under the influence of drugs. Blood samples were taken, and investigations were initiated against the individual.
Both cases have been handed over to the public prosecutor's office in Münster for further investigation.
