Düsseldorf EC Secures a Thrilling 8-4 Victory over the Lions Frankfurt

On Sunday, February 23rd, the Düsseldorf team, DEG, secured a crucial 8-4 victory against Lions Frankfurt. The match was filled with excitement and tension, as both teams showcased their skills and determination.

The first period of the game belonged to Frankfurt, with two hard hits on Gaudet and Justin Richards, and Maksim Matushkin scoring the first goal for Frankfurt at 16 minutes and 3 seconds, equalizing the score at 1:1. However, Henrik Haukeland, guarding the goal for DEG, managed to keep the score close.

The middle period of the game was a wild ride with many goals scored. Matushkin scored another goal for Frankfurt 28 seconds before the end of the first period, giving Frankfurt a 2:1 lead.
