Economy travel with Kuwait Airways now offers a baggage-free alternative
Kuwait Airways has made travel more convenient and flexible with the introduction of a new travel category. The new offering, dubbed "Economy Class Without Baggage," was officially launched on Wednesday.
The airline's chairman, Abdulmohsen Al-Faqaan, emphasised Kuwait Airways' focus on simplifying the passenger journey, from terminal entry to onboard comfort. Passengers using this new fare can now fly with only a lightweight cabin bag, as carrying large suitcases or heavy baggage becomes unnecessary.
Kuwait Airways has structured its economy class into four distinct categories: "Without Baggage," "Saver," "Standard," and "Flexible." The "Without Baggage" category allows passengers to fly with only a single cabin bag weighing up to seven kilograms.
Boardings passes for this new fare can be issued directly at Terminal 4 self-service machines. This new travel category offers travelers a wider range of options tailored to their needs.
The "Standard" category includes two bags and offers full mileage. The "Saver" category allows one 32-kilogram bag and offers 50 percent mileage. In contrast, the "Flexible" category offers additional mileage.
This new travel category is designed for short business trips or quick personal journeys. Al-Faqaan's vision for this initiative aims to provide customers with a more streamlined and efficient travel experience.
