In Braunschweig, a 66-year-old woman was severely injured in a traffic accident involving a local transit bus on September 01, 25. The incident took place at the Altewiekring, around 10:40 AM.

According to the accounts provided by the bus driver and the driver of the parked car, the bus was traveling towards the main station when it had to perform an emergency brake due to a parked car with its driver's door open towards the road. As a result, the woman inside the bus slid through the bus during the sudden braking and hit her head on the back wall of the driver's cabin, becoming unconscious.

First responders arrived at the scene and provided assistance, taking the woman to a hospital for further treatment. The bus driver and the driver of the parked car will likely be interviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.
