Elderly individuals journeying toward the lake in Furth im Wald
On a recent sunny afternoon, a group of Harrlinger seniors embarked on an exciting excursion to the picturesque location of Steinbruchsee, near Furth im Wald. The event was organised by senior representative Inge Aumer.
The day began with a visit to a charming chapel, followed by a trip to a lake formed from an old quarry. The serene beauty of the quarry lake provided a tranquil backdrop for the group, offering a moment of peace and reflection.
Lunch was held at an inn during the event, where coffee and cake were served after lunch, adding a delightful touch to the afternoon.
The highlight of the day, however, was the visit to an expansive wildlife enclosure. Young fallow deer roamed freely within the enclosure, allowing the seniors to get up close and personal with these gentle creatures. The opportunity to pet these young deer was a memorable experience for all.
The event concluded with another visit to the lake formed from the old quarry, offering a serene end to a day filled with adventure and camaraderie. Despite the search results not providing the name of the local senior association organising trips for Harrlinger seniors, it is clear that such events are greatly enjoyed by the community.
