Elderly Resident (age 69) Near South Bridge Area
In the heart of Cologne, a disturbing incident took place on Tuesday, 29th July, at around 7 pm. A street robbery occurred on Alfred-SchΓΌtte-Allee in the Deutz district, leaving a 69-year-old resident as the victim.
The victim was peacefully photographing graffiti at the South Bridge staircase when he was approached from behind. The attacker overpowered him, with the initial intention of stealing from him. However, the assailant found nothing in the victim's pocket and made off with the victim's digital camera.
The Criminal Investigation Department 14 is actively searching for the suspect, who is described as wearing dark clothing. The identity of the suspected perpetrator has not been disclosed.
