Municipal Election in Dormagen Taking Place on September 14, 2025

The city of Dormagen is gearing up for its municipal election on September 14, 2025. This significant event will determine the composition of the new city council and the selection of the new mayor.

As of Monday, September 1, 25.32% of the 50,584 eligible voters have already applied for postal voting. For the election of the Integration Council, 5% of the 14,908 eligible voters have applied for postal voting so far.

The city administration has announced that a public presentation of the election results will take place at the Kulle starting at 6 pm. The SPD and CDU are the dominant parties in the election, with other parties like the Greens, FDP, UWG/FW Dormagen, and Die PARTEI receiving smaller shares of the vote.
