Electronic Scooter Promotion Initiative Commences by Unna County Police Department
The Circular Police Department of Unna is set to launch a new campaign named "Minus Aura!" on July 1, 2025. This initiative aims to prevent future e-scooter accidents within the district.
"Minus Aura," a term from youth slang, means the opposite of "aura," which refers to a positive charisma. The campaign will be published on the social media channels of the Circular Police Department Unna, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
To inquire about the campaign, contact the press office at Friedrich-Ebert-StraΓe 17, 59425 Unna, phone 02303 27-1213, or email [email protected]. For editorial inquiries, contact the Press and Public Relations department at [email protected]. For non-office hour inquiries, contact the Control Center at [email protected] or 02303-921 3535.
The campaign will see the distribution of postcards and posters with short warnings about what is not allowed on e-scooters. The postcards and posters will be distributed at as many citizen encounters as possible in Circular Unna, excluding LΓΌnen. They will also be placed in the patrol cars of police officers.
The back of the postcards features brief facts about e-scooter usage, such as the minimum age requirement of 14 and the permitted locations for riding. Posters showing what is not allowed on e-scooters with the campaign slogan "Minus Aura!" will be distributed to schools before the summer holidays.
The extension of the "Minus Aura!" campaign to schools is aimed at educating younger generations about safe e-scooter usage. The campaign is a proactive step by the Circular Police Department of Unna to ensure the safety of its citizens and visitors.
