In a unique collaboration, acclaimed filmmaker Martin Scorsese is producing a documentary about the life and career of former New York Giants running back, Saquon Barkley. Titled "Saquon," the documentary premieres on Prime Video on October 9, 2025, the same day as the Giants and Eagles' first matchup in 2025.

Barkley, who was selected by the Giants with the second-overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, played for the team for two seasons from 2018 to 2019. During this period, he made a significant impact, playing in all 16 games in his rookie year, rushing for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also added another 91 catches on 121 targets and 721 yards and four touchdowns through the air.

However, Barkley's tenure with the Giants was not without its challenges. He missed three games in the 2019 season, and the team went 4-12. In 2020, Barkley suffered a torn ACL and missed 14 games, ending his time with the Giants.
