Elimination of double charges for ticket purchases in Kamchatka region effective immediately
Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise has made a significant change to its ticket purchasing process, eliminating double fees for passengers traveling to remote settlements in Kamchatka Krai. This decision, made by General Director Alexei Khrabrov, is a continuation of the aviation enterprise's efforts to improve the ticket purchasing experience and address citizen inquiries.
Previously, flights to destinations such as Ayanka or Slautnoye required two tickets due to the necessity of a connecting flight to Tilichiki Airport. Each flight was issued separately, resulting in a fee of 800 rubles for each connection on domestic flights. However, this practice is now a thing of the past.
Thanks to the efforts of the staff at Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise, a technical solution has been found to issue a single route ticket, eliminating the double fees. This means that passengers can now combine several flights into one route ticket, saving them a significant amount of money.
This change will be effective from February 20, 2023, for passengers purchasing tickets with connections on the domestic flights of Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise. It's important to note that this change only applies to tickets with connections within Kamchatka Krai. Tickets with connections on domestic regional flights outside of Kamchatka Krai are not affected by this change.
