Enjoying a serene evening on the rooftop terrace of the EPH during the last days of summer
The Schlossblick Concerts are back for a second year, promising an exciting lineup of music that caters to a wide range of tastes. The concert series, which runs from July 25th to September 5th, will take place every Friday on the rooftop of the Erwin-Piscator-Haus (EPH) in Marburg, offering a breathtaking open-air view of Marburg Castle.
Kicking off the concert series on July 25th is the Christian Gerhard Trio, who will perform "Jazz on a summer night". This talented trio consists of Christian Gerhard on piano, Goetz Ommert on bass, and Martin Müller on drums.
On August 15th, Lazarillo & die Stylophanten will take the stage with their German Hip Hop and live band. To warm up the crowd and provide the after-party, DJ Scoop & Nice-Cut will be present.
For those who enjoy grungy, heavy sounds with a touch of 70s, look no further than August 29th, when Apewards will perform, supported by Torino.
The grand finale on September 5th will feature the Blueskapelle Marburg, who will perform a mix of Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Funk, and Blues Schlager. All songs performed by the Blueskapelle Marburg on September 5th will be sung in German.
On August 22nd, Südviertel and Magnus Ernst will perform pop music, adding another exciting act to the Schlossblick Concerts.
Admission to all concerts is free, making it an affordable and enjoyable way to spend your Friday evenings. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the concerts start at 8 PM.
