Enjoying the coolness of a late summer evening on the rooftop balcony of EPH
The Schlossblick Concerts are set to return this summer, offering a diverse range of musical genres for music lovers in Marburg. The concerts, taking place on the rooftop of the Erwin-Piscator-Haus, will offer a breathtaking view of Marburg Castle under the open sky.
The series kicks off on July 25th with the Christian Gerhard Trio, who will present "Jazz on a summer's night". The trio, featuring Christian Gerhard on piano, Goetz Ommert on bass, and Martin Mueller on drums, promises an enchanting start to the concert series.
On August 15th, Lazarillo & die Stylophanten will perform German Hip Hop with a live band. To warm up the audience, DJ Scoop & Nice-Cut will spin tracks before the main act.
The following week, on August 22nd, SΓΌdviertel and singer-songwriter Magnus Ernst will perform pop music. On August 29th, the trio Apewards will take the stage, performing grungy music with a touch of 70s, supported by local indie rockers Torino.
The grand finale on September 5th will feature the Blueskapelle Marburg (BKM). For this special occasion, they will play Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Funk, and Blues Schlager, all sung in German. However, the artist performing at the Grand Finale remains a surprise.
Throughout the series, admission to the concerts remains free. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. Whether you're a fan of Jazz, Hip Hop, Singer-Songwriter Indie Pop, Stoner and Blues Rock, or Blues, there's something for everyone at the Schlossblick Concerts.
