Enjoyment of culture and retail shopping experience
The Art Weekend, a five-day celebration of art and shopping, is set to commence in Berlin from September 10 to September 14, 2025. Organised by Ursula Bolck-Jopp, Franz Schneider, and Peter Litvai, the event was officially unveiled at a public program presentation on Thursday.
The presentation was attended by key figures from the city's administration, including Michael Bragulla, the city's marketing director, and Jutta Widmann, representing Mayor Alexander Putz. VIP guides were also present, ready to guide visitors through the various galleries, museums, and exhibition spaces that will be part of the Art Weekend.
Over 30 shops will participate in a Late Night Shopping event, which will run simultaneously with the art exhibitions. These exhibitions will take place in various galleries, museums, and exhibition spaces across the city, offering visitors a diverse range of art to explore.
The art exhibitions and shopping event will provide free admission to visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm, and the exhibition houses will also be open late into the evening on Friday for the traditional Art Night. In addition to the art exhibitions, the Art Weekend will feature over 30 open shops for Late Night Shopping, providing visitors with the opportunity to purchase unique pieces and souvenirs.
