In the northern part of Nuremberg on August 18, 2025, several political rallies unfolded, attracting a diverse crowd. The main rally commenced at around 7:00 PM, with participants marching through the city.

The operation was a collaborative effort involving officers from Nuremberg-Ost police inspection, Central Deployment Police Mittelfranken, Bavarian Bereitschaftspolizei, Nuremberg traffic police, and Nuremberg Criminal Police. Their primary goal was to ensure the safety and order of the events.

As the march progressed, a group of protesters formed a sit-in blockade in Pilotystraße, impeding the march's path. However, the participants were able to bypass the blockade, and the police subsequently removed 16 individuals from the road due to their refusal to move to a designated assembly area.

Meanwhile, around 250 counter-protesters marched on an alternative route to the area of Rollnerstraße. Approximately 90 people gathered at the Archive Park, carrying the motto "Never silent again - Together for Germany!".

To maintain order and prevent confrontations, the police set up barriers separating participants from different political factions. Occasionally, immediate force was used to prevent potential altercations among the participants. Counter-protesters attempted to enter the march route or block it, but the police officers successfully prevented such incidents.

Barriers were also set up to prevent direct confrontation between protesters in both locations. Around 30 people sat down on the roadway of Spittlertorgraben at approximately 7:45 PM, which the police considered a rally. Proceedings for violating the assembly law were initiated against the 16 people removed from the road.

The police are also investigating three protesters from the sit-in blockade for suspected resistance to enforcement officers.
