In a series of high-profile meetings and discussions, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been actively shaping Turkey's role in regional and international affairs.

During a recent visit to China, Erdogan met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin. The discussions focused on deepening economic, diplomatic, and regional ties with Asia, emphasizing the strategic importance of SCO membership for Turkey.

Erdogan also underlined Turkey's commitment to ensuring lasting peace and stability in neighboring Syria. He warned that those who attempt to sabotage the reconciliation process in Syria will face consequences. Erdogan highlighted the work of the newly established National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission in the Turkish Parliament as a testament to Turkey's dedication to the Syrian cause.

In the South Caucasus, Erdogan stated that progress is tangible and promising, following the Aug. 8 agreements at the White House between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He provided a detailed assessment of the peace process, focusing on the Zangezur Corridor. Erdogan noted that both Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are aligned in their commitment to normalization.

Erdogan's mediation efforts extended to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, where discussions with President Putin focused on energy cooperation and regional stability. Telephone diplomacy with President Zelenskyy helped Turkey gauge Ukraine's perspective on ongoing negotiations.

Turkey has maintained a solution-oriented approach, keeping communication lines open with all parties. This approach was evident in the ongoing terror-free Turkey process following the terrorist organization PKK's decision to dissolve and disarm.

Erdogan strongly condemned the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. First Lady Emine Erdogan sent a heartfelt letter to Melania Trump, urging a similar level of attention for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as seen in Ukraine.

The Istanbul process and the Alaska summit between U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy were highlighted as key initiatives by Erdogan. He stated that Turkey supports Syria's unity across all communities, including Arabs, Kurds, Turkmens, Alawites, Sunnis, and Christians.

Erdogan's diplomatic efforts are guided by foresight and goodwill, as he believes that every problem can be resolved if approached with sincerity. Turkey continues to pursue a solution-oriented approach, building trust and creating channels for concrete results, including the grain corridor and prisoner exchanges.

In a nutshell, Erdogan's global diplomacy is centred around peace, prosperity, and partnership. His recent initiatives and meetings underscore Turkey's commitment to regional stability, economic growth, and humanitarian aid.
