Escapade in Leonberg results in three individuals sustaining minor injuries and approximately Euro 29,000 worth of property damage.
On August 21, 2025, an unexpected incident occurred on County Road 1011 (Südrandstraße) in Leonberg. At around 12:30 PM, a traffic accident took place that involved an unknown car driver.
The unknown driver was operating a black Audi SUV with a Stuttgart license plate (S-). The accident occurred near the junction of Südrandstraße and Renninger Straße, causing the road to be closed between these two points. A local detour was set up during the road closure, which lasted until around 4:00 PM.
The unknown driver collided with two other vehicles. In one instance, the driver of a 28-year-old Škoda coming from the opposite direction was also involved. The unknown driver also collided with a 26-year-old BMW driver traveling in the same direction. As a result, the Škoda ended up in the grass median, and the BMW subsequently entered the oncoming lane and collided with a Kia driven by a 35-year-old.
The 35-year-old Kia driver was taken to a hospital by ambulance, and the 28-year-old Škoda driver, the 26-year-old BMW driver, and a small child in the BMW sustained minor injuries. The total material damage from the accident amounts to approximately 29,000 euros, but the total cost of the material damage from the accident was not specified in this paragraph.
All three involved vehicles had to be towed away. The identity of the unknown driver has not been publicly disclosed or identified based on available police and news reports. The police are likely investigating but have not released specific information about this individual.
