In a thrilling Handball Bundesliga encounter, the Berlin Foxes emerged victorious against Frisch Auf Göppingen with a scoreline of 32:26. The German champions started the game with a high tempo and took an early lead, only to see it narrowed down as the match progressed.

The Foxes, who have now won three games in a row, initially struggled with defensive issues. However, they managed to maintain their composure against the aggressive hosts throughout the game, thanks in large part to the stellar performance of Serbian goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev.

Milosavljev, who joined the Foxes in 2019 after stints at RK Jugovic Kac, Red Star Belgrade, Partizan Belgrade, and Vardar Skopje, where he won the EHF Champions League, was a strong backbone for the team. He made a total of 17 crucial saves during the game, keeping the Foxes' lead intact when it mattered most.

The Foxes had a four-goal lead over Göppingen after 23 minutes, but this lead was squandered before the break, as the Berliners unexpectedly conceded an equalizer. However, the Foxes retook the lead 15 minutes before the end, with a score of 25:21, and held on until the final whistle to secure the victory.

Leo Prantner was the top scorer for Berlin, netting nine goals, while Tim Freihofer also contributed eight. The win against Frisch Auf Göppingen marks the Berlin Foxes' second consecutive victory, following their previous success against the same opposition.

Despite missing many open shots during the game, the Foxes' precision at the Göppingen goalkeeper Kristian Saeveras' post was enough to secure the victory. The Berlin Foxes will look to continue their winning streak in their next Handball Bundesliga match.
