In a heartwarming display of corporate social responsibility, Sparkasse Solingen has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting local charities. This year, the recipient of the donation is the Palliative Hospiz Solingen e.V., marking the third consecutive year that the organisation has been chosen for this generous gesture.

The donation was presented during a small ceremony held at the hospice's premises on Gotenstraße. The overall gross winner of the Sparkasse Golf Tournament, Waldemar Dombrowski, had the honour of making the presentation.

The annual Sparkasse Golf Tournament, which is part of the Deka Golf Cup, took place on May 6th at the Golf Club in Haan-Duesseltal. The tournament saw a significant turnout, with all entry fees donated to a charitable organisation in Solingen.

Waldemar Dombrowski, who also serves as a board member of Sparkasse Solingen, selected the Palliative Hospiz Solingen e.V. as the recipient of the donation for the third consecutive year. The donation amounted to €2,000.
