In a thrilling conclusion to the UAE Tri-Series, Pakistan emerged victorious, defeating Afghanistan in the final at Sharjah. The tournament, held in the United Arab Emirates, saw a mix of standout performances and forgettable outings for the Pakistani team.

Opening the tournament, Salman Ali Agha scored a rapid fifty against Afghanistan, but his impact was minimal in the remaining matches. Saim Ayub, on the other hand, impressed with his economy, taking the most economical spell from either side against Afghanistan.

Fakhar Zaman finished as Pakistan's leading run-scorer, but most of his runs came in a dead-rubber game against the UAE. Hassan Nawaz also scored a half-century against the UAE, but his performance overall was ordinary. Sahibzada Farhan, however, started well, getting three quick starts in five innings, including two against Afghanistan.

Haris Rauf made an impact in his first game against Afghanistan, breaking through four times, but his second outing against the same opposition was forgettable. Faheem Ashraf, too, struggled with the bat throughout the tournament, taking all of his wickets against Afghanistan.

Salman Mirza failed to make an impression in his two games, both against the UAE, while Shaheen Shah Afridi was excellent without being sensational, taking 4 wickets at an average of 19.50 with an economy rate of 5.57.

The star of the tournament was undoubtedly Mohammad Nawaz, who took ten wickets in the tournament, including a hat-trick in the final. Abrar Ahmed also shone, taking 6 wickets in 2 matches, with a best bowling figure of 4-9 against the UAE in a dead-rubber match, and was excellent in the final, taking 2 wickets for 17 runs.

Mohammad Haris had a forgettable tournament, scoring 33 runs at an average of 6.60 and a strike rate of 85. Unfortunately, there is no information available about the players who were called up for the Pakistan national team for the first time at this tournament.
