Evening Gathering for Youth in Euskirchen
Get ready for an action-packed weekend in Euskirchen as the city joins over 100 cities in North Rhine-Westphalia for the nachtfrequenz25 - Youth Culture Night NRW on September 27 and 28, 2025.
The events, designed for young people aged 14 and above, are a collaboration between the city of Euskirchen, Caritas Association for the Dekanate Euskirchen, and the "Kurve kriegen" initiative, with some events also organised by the Caritas Association.
On September 27, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Youth Villa, Alte Gerberstraße 22, will be buzzing with activities. Young artists from the Euskirchen area will perform their self-written songs from various music genres, and there will be opportunities to try out archery and boxing. For those interested in photography, a "Double Exposure" workshop will take place at "Simons Glück" in Kapellenstraße 35. Registration is required for this workshop.
If you're into skateboarding, head over to the new skate park on Georgstraße from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a skate workshop. Helmets and skateboards can be borrowed or brought along. For the more adventurous, there's a skate workshop at the Old Market from around 2:30 PM on the same day.
For those with a flair for dance, the "Move your Story" dance workshop will take place in the seminar room at Annostraße 31 in Euskirchen-Frauenberg on September 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Participants will learn to improvise and choreograph with various tools from dance and performance under the guidance of professional dance educators. Registration is required for this workshop.
In addition, there will be a Tambourcorps Oberwichterich stand during the Knollenfest in the city center on September 27 and 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, where you can try out various instruments.
