Event Celebrating Africa's Colors Announced by Foreign Ministry
The third edition of the Colours of Africa event is set to take place at CentralWorld in Bangkok, Thailand, from Monday, 5th October to Tuesday, 6th October 2025. This annual celebration, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), embassies of African countries, honorary consulates, and members of the private sector, aims to strengthen mutual understanding between Thailand and African nations, encouraging opportunities for future partnerships.
The event kicks off with an opening ceremony on Monday afternoon, from 2.30pm to 3.45pm. The ceremony will showcase cultural performances and showcases, providing a vibrant introduction to the diversity and resilience of Africa. Moroccan Ambassador Abderrahim Rahhaly described the event as a celebration of Africa's diversity and resilience.
Throughout the two-day event, visitors can expect a variety of activities. Awareness-raising activities for students, including quizzes, public speaking competitions, and art displays, are included in the program. Live music, dance, and cooking demonstrations will also be part of the event, offering a taste of African culture.

According to Sasirit Tangulrat, Director-General of the MFA's South Asian, Middle East and Africa Department, the event embodies the spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding. She expressed hope that the event would broaden Thailand's awareness of Africa's vast potential. The Ambassador, too, stated that the event opens the door for cooperation and cultural exchange with Thai friends.
