The tech giant Google has recently unveiled its latest offering in the smartphone market, the Pixel 10 series. The devices are designed to set the standard for what's coming next in every other smartphone, aiming to redefine the boundaries of mobile technology.

The Pixel 10 series consists of two models: the Pixel 10 and the Pixel Pro 10 XL. Both devices boast a distinct, colourful design approach, featuring a polished, pastel glass back. They also share a common feature - a camera bar.

The Pixel 10 Pro, in particular, is positioned by Google to take AI-powered features mainstream. It comes with the most complete AI feature set available in any handset currently. One such feature is Magic Cue, an AI-powered tool, similar to the promised but unfulfilled Apple Intelligence feature on iPhone 15 devices. Magic Cue pulls information from other Google-owned apps into Messages, offering a seamless and intelligent user experience.

The Pixel 10 Pro also offers improved zoom capabilities, thanks to its new and more powerful Tensor chip, Google's own chipset, the Tensor G5. This chip powers all the devices in the Pixel 10 series. The Pro model also boasts a brighter screen compared to its predecessors.

In terms of design, Google has introduced a new aesthetic for Android called Material 3 Expressive. The Pixel 10 Pro, in line with this, sports a sleek and modern look.

Google has also implemented a magnetic attachment system for accessories, similar to the iPhone's MagSafe feature. This system, dubbed Pixelsnap, is based on the Qi2 wireless charging standard, making it both convenient and efficient.

The Pixel 10 series devices come with a free subscription to Google AI Pro, further enhancing the AI capabilities of these devices.

The launch event for the Pixel 10 series was held in New York and hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Lando Norris and Alex Cooper from Call Her Daddy were guest stars at the event, adding an element of excitement to the unveiling.

Pricing for the Pixel 10 Pro starts at £799, while the Pixel Pro 10 XL retails for £1,199.

With its innovative features, stylish design, and powerful performance, the Pixel 10 series is set to make a significant impact in the smartphone market.
